DreamWeb, released in 1994 by Creative Reality, is a dark, top-down point-and-click adventure that delves into themes of destiny, morality, and madness. Players control Ryan, a troubled bartender plagued by disturbing dreams, who is chosen by mysterious monks to become the “keeper of the DreamWeb” and tasked with assassinating seven individuals tied to an ancient evil.

The gameplay focuses on exploration, puzzle-solving, and interaction with objects in a gritty cyberpunk world. Presented through a bird’s-eye perspective, players search for clues, gather items, and piece together the sinister narrative. Its mature themes, bleak environments, and violent moments set it apart from the more lighthearted adventures of the era.

Known for its atmospheric pixel art, moody soundtrack, and controversial tone, DreamWeb became a cult classic among adventure fans.
