Our Approach to Games
This site is a non-commercial hobby project. The games hosted here are believed to fall into one of the following categories:
- Games officially released as freeware by their publishers or copyright holders
- Games whose publishers are no longer active and for which no commercial version is available
- Games hosted for historical preservation and educational purposes
We do not generate revenue from the games distributed on this site. However, we understand that the legal status of some titles may be unclear, and we are committed to addressing any legitimate copyright concerns quickly.
How to Submit a Takedown Request
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, and you believe that content on OldSchoolGames.eu infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to:

Your Notice Must Include
- Your full legal name and contact information (email address)
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The specific URL(s) on OldSchoolGames.eu where the allegedly infringing content is located
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your electronic or physical signature
Our Response
Upon receipt of a valid takedown notice, we will:
- Review the notice within 5 business days
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content promptly if the claim is valid
- Notify you once the content has been removed
Please note: Submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice may result in legal liability for damages, costs, and attorneys' fees.
Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address with:
- Your contact information
- Identification of the removed content and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification
- Your signature
