Hook

ADVENTURE 1992

Hook Hook is a side-scrolling action-adventure game based on Steven Spielberg's 1991 film of the same name. Players step into the shoes of Peter Banning—now rediscovering his identity as the legendary Peter Pan—as he embarks on a perilous journey to rescue his kidnapped children from the clutches of the villainous Captain Hook.

Set across colorful and imaginative levels inspired by Neverland, the game combines platforming, sword-fighting, and light puzzle-solving. With the help of Tinker Bell and the Lost Boys, Peter regains his forgotten powers—like flying and swordplay—to overcome Hook’s pirates and various fantasy creatures.

Ocean Software’s adaptation stands out with its faithful recreation of the film’s atmosphere, detailed pixel art, and a memorable soundtrack. While challenging in places, Hook offers a nostalgic adventure for fans of the movie and classic platformers alike.
