Arkanoid
Arkanoid is a classic arcade-style brick-breaking game developed by Taito and released for MS-DOS in 1986. A spiritual successor to Breakout, the game puts players in control of the "Vaus," a small paddle-like spacecraft tasked with destroying rows of colorful bricks by bouncing a ball across the screen.Featuring power-ups, enemy obstacles, and increasingly challenging level designs, Arkanoid added new depth and excitement to the brick-breaker genre. Its simple yet addictive gameplay, combined with crisp visuals and fast-paced action, made it one of the most iconic and influential games of the 1980s—both in arcades and on home computers.
