Classic MS-DOS Games from 1995

1995 represented the high-water mark of the point-and-click adventure game. LucasArts released Full Throttle, a biker adventure with outstanding voice acting and atmosphere, and The Dig, a cerebral science-fiction epic. Command & Conquer from Westwood Studios brought the real-time strategy genre to a mass mainstream audience. Crusader: No Remorse delivered isometric action with spectacular destructible environments. The year also marked the beginning of DOS gaming's twilight as Windows 95 and DirectX started drawing developers away from the platform.
